It's estimated that every year close to four million high school and college athletes in the U.S. suffer concussions, also known as mild traumatic brain injuries. For roughly 20 percent of these young people, the injuries lead to cognitive impairment, occasionally severe and long-lasting. Do you think that coaches, parents, and the sports culture in general are pushing student athletes too hard, contributing to the high number of concussions? What do you think needs to be done to keep young athletes safer?
